Educational & Work experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or IT related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP SD
The SAP Analyst SD is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration & support of the SAP SD areas to meet the business needs.
Proposes, programs, or configures, documents and tests business solution in SAP application according to the functional and technical requirements. Builds professional relationships with management and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions, support for development of business possibilities and for personal development, contributes to high productivity and motivation of working team.
- This position reports to the Manager – SAP Logistics.
Skills required but not limited to:
- SAP SD configuration with minimum two End-to-End Implementations.
- Strong Order to Cash and Inventory Management process knowledge.
- Understanding of the SD integration touchpoints with other modules like Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM).
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Should have good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools.
- Should be able to write functional specifications in detail, conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
- Ensure the integrity of the Sales & Distribution configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.
- Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
- Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modelling.
- Demonstrate proof of concept & assist in training activities.
- Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
- Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP team to complete object development and testing.
- Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
